Port Askaig 100° Proof Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky (70cl, 57.1%)

This is an Islay single malt Scotch whisky from Port Askaig, bottled by Elixir Distillers at 100 proof, which is 57.1% ABV, in a 70cl bottle. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colouring. The nose combines orchard fruit and bright citrus over dense peat smoke. The palate is sweet vanilla toffee and milk chocolate with a firm peppery edge. The finish is long, with ripe apple and creamy smoke.
