Port Askaig 13 Year Old 2013 Oloroso Sherry Butt 4419 50th Anniversary Kirsch Import (53.2%)

A 13-year-old Islay single malt from Port Askaig, a brand of Elixir Distillers, matured in an Oloroso sherry butt and bottled at 53.2%. This single-cask release marks the 50th anniversary of Kirsch Import. The whisky was distilled on 14 March 2013 and bottled in 2026. The butt, reference 4419, brings sweet fruit, spicy oak and maritime intensity alongside the island's smoke. Coastal smoke meets roasted almonds and ripe orchard fruit on the nose. The palate is syrupy and sweet-fruity, with caramelised peach, vanilla fudge and candied citrus.
