Port Askaig 2008 13 Years Single Cask (70cl, 54.6%)

This is a single cask Islay single malt under the Port Askaig name, distilled in 2008 and bottled in 2022 after 13 years of maturation. It is bottled at cask strength, 54.6%, in a 70cl bottle. The nose is described as peat with ashes, warm hay, honey and white tea. Chocolate, fruit and smokiness appear on the palate. The finish is long, and peat, chocolate and coffee linger at the end.
