Port Askaig 8 Year Old is an Islay single malt Scotch whisky, bottled at 45.8% abv in a 70cl bottle.
It is aged in refill American oak, a choice that lets the character of the spirit come through rather than the cask. The result is a soft, sweet, peaty whisky, gently smoky and easy to return to.
