Port Askaig Sherry Cask is an Islay single malt bottled by Elixir Distillers at 50.5% in a 70cl bottle. It comes from sherry casks and is non-chill-filtered, with no added colouring.
The nose combines dried fruit and dark chocolate with a sea breeze. The palate is dense and jammy, with sultanas, orange peel and citrus, and coal smoke runs through it without covering the sherry sweetness. The finish is long and spicy.
