Port Charlotte 10 is a heavily peated Islay single malt Scotch whisky from Bruichladdich, matured for ten years on the shores of Loch Indaal. It is bottled at 50% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
It is made entirely on Islay from 100% Scottish barley and is trickle-distilled. The smoke is reminiscent of heather and barbecue, with caramel, fudge and vanilla custard from the casks, plus hints of ginger, nutmeg and clove. A touch of marine influence calms the smoke, and citrus notes appear with a drop of water.
