Port Charlotte 10 Year Old Heavily Peated is an Islay single malt from Bruichladdich, bottled by the distillery at 50% in a 70cl bottle. It is made from heavily peated barley and matured in oak casks.
It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour.
Peat smoke on the nose comes with a gentle sweetness of vanilla and a sea breeze. The palate is full and powerful, with smoked wood, heather and a light saltiness. The finish is long and warming, ending on smoke.
