A heavily peated Islay single malt from Port Charlotte, made from 100% Islay Concerto and Propino barley grown in the 2013 harvest and distilled in 2014. The phenol level is 40 PPM, and it is bottled at 50%.
After seven years of maturation, 84% of the whisky comes from first-fill bourbon casks, and the remainder is split between second-fill Virgin oak and wine casks.
The nose opens with malty digestive biscuits, peat embers, vanilla, honey and toffee, moving to citrus, melon, peach and red apple. The palate brings citrus, ripe fruit, gentle peat smoke, toasted oak and a hint of coconut. The finish is soft stoned fruit and toasted oak, with a lingering dry barbecue smoke.

Malty digestive biscuits and peat embers, vanilla, honey, toffee and crème brûlée, then lemon rind, grapefruit, melon, peach and red apple, with maritime notes and wood spice
Citrus tang, sweet ripe fruit and gentle peat smoke, with marine character, toasted oak, coconut, marzipan and tobacco
Soft stoned fruit and toasted oak sweetness, with lingering dry barbecue smoke
