A six-year-old Islay single malt from Port Charlotte, distilled in 2012 and bottled at 50% ABV as part of the Islay Barley series.
Port Charlotte is heavily peated and is distilled, matured and bottled at Bruichladdich on Islay. The origin of the barley is the central feature of this edition, which uses regional barley.
Smoke, malt, citrus and cereal are described, along with oak, salty notes and an earthy spiciness.
