This is an 18 year old single malt from Douglas Laing's Old Particular range, sold under the name Probably Orkney's Finest. It was distilled in 2002, matured in a refill puncheon and bottled in 2020 at 48.4% ABV, with 495 bottles filled in the 70cl size. The name hints at Orkney, and the bottling is widely speculated to come from Highland Park. That distillery stands at Kirkwall on Orkney's Mainland and is the northernmost in Scotland.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
