Proper No. Twelve Irish Whiskey (175cl, 40%)

Proper No. Twelve is an Irish whiskey in a 1.75 litre bottle, bottled at 40% ABV. It is a triple-distilled blend of grain and single malt whiskey, aged for four years in bourbon barrels. The whiskey pays tribute to its founder, Conor McGregor, and to his Dublin 12 neighbourhood of Crumlin. It is meant to be easy-going, and is best enjoyed with ginger ale or over ice. The nose is baked apple with a touch of honey and sweet ripe berries. The palate is smooth, with vanilla, honey and toasted wood, and the finish is warming, with creamy toffee.
