Proper No. Twelve is a triple-distilled Irish blend of grain whiskey and single malt, aged for four years in bourbon barrels. It is bottled at 40% ABV in a 75cl bottle.
The whiskey pays tribute to its founder, Conor McGregor, and his neighbourhood of Crumlin, Dublin 12. It is described as friendly and straightforward, and suited to ginger ale or ice.
The nose is baked apple with a touch of honey and sweet ripe berries. The palate is smooth, with vanilla, honey and toasted wood, and the finish is warming, with creamy toffee.
