Provenance Craigellachie 10 Year Old is a single cask single malt from Craigellachie in Speyside, bottled by Douglas Laing at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
It matured for ten years in a single refill hogshead and was bottled non-chill filtered and with natural colour.
The nose is waxy malt, toasted cereal and baked apple, with honey, leather and gentle smoke. The palate is rich and chewy, with malted barley, toffee, stewed pear, citrus zest and a touch of sulphury spice. The finish is long and warming, with honeyed oak, soft spice and a wisp of smoke.
