This is an 11 year old Pulteney single malt from The Maltman, a brand of Meadowside Blending Co. of Glasgow. It is a single cask bottling at cask strength, 53.7%, drawn from a bourbon barrel.
The spirit was distilled in June 2013 and bottled in February 2025, in an edition of 253 bottles.
The nose offers vanilla, oaty biscuits and a touch of sea breeze. The palate is velvety and creamy, with salted caramel and a fruity hint of lychee, joined by vanilla. The finish is long and soft, with caramel toffee, summer fruits and dark chocolate.
