This is a Kentucky straight bourbon from Puncher's Chance, aged for 14 years in wood rickhouses. It was then finished for two to six months in freshly emptied 12 year old Jamaican rum casks.
The name refers to the Jamaican heavyweight Donovan 'Razor' Ruddock, a southpaw known for his left cross.
The bourbon shows vanilla, dark fruit and warm oak from long maturation in new American oak. The rum finish adds brown sugar, ripe bananas and sweet baking spice, with the distinct Jamaican rum 'funk'. The finish is long and soft, with faint rum notes lingering.
