Queen Mary I De Luxe is a blended Scotch whisky with a five-year age statement, bottled at 43% in a 75cl bottle by the Premier Scotch Whisky Co. The label states that the whiskies were distilled, aged and blended in Scotland.
The nose is dense with toasted caramel, vanilla and ripe dried fruit, along with sweet grain, classic malty notes and a light spiciness of cinnamon or sweet pepper. The palate is round and oily, with fruit jam, toffee, toasted sugar and well-integrated oak. The finish is medium to long and warm, leaving dried fruit, cocoa and a dry, slightly bitter close.
