A single cask rum from Trinidad, distilled in 1998 and bottled in 2024 by Rum Artesanal. It is limited to 264 bottles. The nose shows typical Caroni notes without harsh alcohol, with fruit, a little smoke, tar, fine sweetness, dried apricots and banana. The palate is powerful and present, with fruit, smoke, tar, fine sweetness, dried apricots and banana, plus fine caramel and wood tones. The finish is extremely long-lasting.
