This is the first Marsala cask release from the Isle of Raasay Distillery. The whisky was distilled in July 2021 from Diablo and Concerto barley, lightly peated at 8-10 ppm, and bottled in July 2025. It was matured in ex-Frazzitta Marsala Vergine barriques.
The nose is grapey and gently sweet, with a delicate sharpness and a touch of Parma violet. The palate is aromatic and layered, with stewed apples, ginger, maple syrup, sweet pears and a hint of balsamic vinegar.
The finish is long, with a fine note of smoke.
