Raasay Na Sia 'Through the Ages' 7 Years Evolved Unpeated Ex-Bordeaux (60.1%)

This is an unpeated single malt from Isle of Raasay Distillery, bottled at 60.1% ABV. It is the second instalment of the Na Sia 'Through the Ages' series, which releases the same recipe casks every two years, following a five year old first release. Cask 19/468 was filled with unpeated spirit on 5 November 2018 and spent its whole life in a single first-fill ex-Bordeaux red wine cask. The whisky is non-chill filtered, with no added colour, and limited to 284 bottles. The nose is layered and generous, with red berries and dark cherry leading.
