Rammstein 10 Year Old Irish Whiskey (70cl, 43%)

This is a 10 year old Irish blended whiskey bottled by Rammstein. It combines triple-distilled grain whiskey with double-distilled malt. It spent ten years in ex-bourbon casks, followed by six months in sherry casks. It is bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle, without added colour, as a limited edition. The nose is grainy and spicy, with toasted white bread, freshly ground pepper and a little wood polish. On the palate come streusel cake with butter and vanilla, then dark chocolate and amarena cherry. The finish is lasting, with sweet and spicy notes together.
