A cask strength straight bourbon from Ranger Creek in Texas, bottled at 60.95% ABV in a 70cl bottle. Texas heat is part of the story here: whiskey matures considerably faster in the high temperatures, which shapes how this bourbon develops in the cask. The nose combines caramel chocolate, vanilla, brown sugar and fresh wood. On the palate come caramel, cinnamon and wild cherries, with a slight chilli and rye note. The finish is long, sweet and warm.
