A straight bourbon from Ranger Creek in Texas, in a 70cl bottle at 48%. The mash bill is 70% corn, 16% rye and 14% barley. It was matured for two and a half to three years in 25 gallon casks. The Texas climate brings whiskey to maturity considerably faster than a cooler one would. The nose offers vanilla, brown sugar, leather and wood. Caramel, butterscotch, light cinnamon and smoky oak follow on the palate, and the finish is long, sweet and warming.
