This is a Texas rye whiskey in a 70cl bottle at 47% ABV. It spent a little over two years in standard barrels. Whiskey matures considerably faster in the Texas heat, and the extended time in cask has left this one notably round. The nose is floral, with black pepper and mint. The palate is fresh, with apple, cloves and honey alongside mint. The finish lingers and warms, with notes of fresh bread crust.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
