Redbreast 12 Years Cask Strength is an Irish single pot still whiskey from Cork, bottled at 56.3% in a 70cl bottle. Redbreast is distilled at the New Midleton distillery, which belongs to Irish Distillers. Bottlings are issued in batches, and this one comes from batch B1/21. The nose is fruity, with figs, dates and ripe bananas. The palate is full and weighty, with light vanilla and subtle wood notes. The finish is intense, both spicy and fruity.
