Redbreast 12 Years is an Irish single pot still whiskey from Cork, bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. It is matured for twelve years in sherry casks together with bourbon casks, and the pot still method gives it a fruity character.
The nose is complex and spicy, with lightly oily aromas and toasted wood. On the palate, spice, oil, sherry and roasted notes come through strongly. The finish is pleasantly long, with dark berry fruit.
