An Irish single pot still whiskey, aged for 15 years and sold in a 70cl bottle. Pot still whiskey is made from a mash of malted and unmalted barley, distilled in traditional copper pot stills.
Redbreast is often associated with blackcurrant and peach notes.
The nose brings spice with caramel, citrus, buttery biscuit and freshly cut grass. The palate is full-bodied, creamy and soft, with citrus, banana, caramel, green grass and toasted oak, plus a hint of ginger. The finish is of medium length, with custard, malt and citrus peel.
