Redbreast 21 Years is a single pot still Irish whiskey from Midleton Distillery.
It matured in both bourbon and Oloroso sherry casks, as do the other Redbreast expressions. Since 2020 it has been presented in a wooden chest.
The nose offers fresh tropical fruit such as apple and mango, along with nuts and butter biscuits, with pepper and cinnamon underneath. The palate is sweet, though less so than the younger expressions, rich and round, with vanilla, sherry, cinnamon and stewed apples. The finish is long, fruity and spicy.
