This is a 2 year old American wheat whiskey from Reservoir, bottled by the Boutique-y Whisky Company as Batch 1 in a 50cl bottle at 47.5% ABV. The mash is 100% wheat, and the batch runs to 481 bottles. Reservoir was founded in 2008 in Richmond, Virginia, by childhood friends Jay Carpenter and Dave Cuttino, who wanted to honour their southern heritage and shake up the conventional whiskey world. It was the third bourbon whiskey distillery established outside Kentucky.
