A 26 year old Highland malt from Rhosdhu, dating from 1979 and bottled at 46%. It is labelled First Cask.
Straw in colour, it opens with floral notes of lily of the valley alongside plenty of tropical fruit: passion fruit, pink grapefruit and pineapple.
The palate is delicate and fruity, recalling pear brandy and a fruit eau de vie, with a little wood coming through. The finish is long and full of spices.
