Ricasoli Casalferro Rosso Toscana IGT

A Tuscan red wine with good identity and integrity. It has a medium ruby colour, with aromas of ripe red fruit, light spicy nuances and floral hints, plus earthy sensations and light balsamic notes. The palate is balanced, with present but not aggressive tannins and acidity that gives freshness, ending clean and orderly. It suits grilled red meats, roasts, cured meats and medium-aged cheeses, as well as savoury first courses. Serve around 16-18 C, with a short decanting to open the aromas; a wide glass helps show the aromatic profile.
