Ridgemont 1792 Small Batch is a Kentucky straight bourbon made to a high rye recipe. The Master Distiller selects the casks that go into it.
The nose opens with buttery warmth, followed by black pepper and soft smoky notes of charred oak and cinnamon. On the palate come soft caramel, clove, cardamom, barbecued corn, brittle peanut and spicy rye. The finish has a touch of cinnamon and notes of citrus fruit.
