Rig Hand Lazy B Corn Whisky (75cl, 40%)

Rig Hand Lazy B is a corn whisky made by Rig Hand Distillery in Nisku, Alberta, and bottled at 40% ABV in a 750ml bottle. The recipe follows a traditional bourbon approach learned from Stillwrights Distillery in Ohio, adapted by Rig Hand to use locally grown Alberta corn. The corn is harvested after it has frozen in the field, a choice suited to the northern climate. The nose is sweet and corn-forward, with vanilla, caramel, a little honey and gentle oak. The palate is smooth and creamy, with sweet corn, butterscotch, toasted nuts and restrained spice. The finish stays warm, with lingering corn sweetness, vanilla and gentle oak.
