Rittenhouse Rye 100 is a Kentucky straight rye whiskey from Heaven Hill, made in the Bottled-in-Bond style at 100 proof (50% ABV).
Its character is warm and herbal. It suits a Manhattan, and it is also served neat or on the rocks.
The nose brings grass, mint, hot rock and flowers. The palate repeats these and adds the sweet-dry wood of warehouse maturation, and the finish stays warm and herbal.
