Rittenhouse Straight Rye is an American rye whisky in a 750ml bottle, bottled at 50% ABV, or 100 proof. It is also known as Rittenhouse Bottled in Bond.
The name recalls Rittenhouse Square in Philadelphia. It follows the classic rye style that was common in American whiskey before Prohibition, when most rye came from the Pennsylvania and Maryland area.
It is described as having a distinct, spicy flavour.
