Rock Island Mezcal Cask Edition is a Douglas Laing island whisky, made by combining Single Cask Single Malts with a maritime character. For this limited bottling of no more than 1,500 bottles, the whisky was finished for 12 months in ex-mezcal casks. The finish gives it more smoke and a stronger salty note. The label carries agave illustrations beside the Rock Island oyster, marking the meeting of Scotland's west coast and the mezcal distilleries of Mexico.
