This is a 15 year old single malt from an undisclosed Scottish island distillery, released as Rock Island's Finest in Douglas Laing's Old Particular range. It was distilled in June 2008 and bottled in December 2023 at 48.4%, in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky matured in a single refill hogshead, cask DL18401, and 402 bottles were filled. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colouring.
The label describes a warming, earthy style with burnt sugar, barley, charred oak and a salty, maritime tang.
