Roper's Hold 6 Year Old is an American bourbon selected and bottled by True Wild Distilling for its Roper's Hold whisky series. It was distilled at the Barton Distillery in Bardstown, Kentucky, aged for six years and then finished in new toasted oak casks. It is bottled at 50% ABV.
The nose is sweet and oak-forward, with vanilla, caramel, toasted wood and gentle baking spice. The palate is full and warming, with caramelised sweetness, vanilla, toasted oak, mature grain and robust spice. The finish is long, with toasted oak, vanilla, caramel and baking spice.
