This is a 13 year old Rosebank from 1992, bottled independently by Cooper's Choice. Rosebank is a closed Lowland distillery, and this whisky was matured in refill American oak. It comes in a 70cl bottle at 46% ABV.
The nose is floral with orchard fruit, including green apple, pear and lemon zest, alongside honey, toasted almond and a little spice. On the palate it is silky and mineral, with fig and dark chocolate adding sherry depth. The finish is dry and mineral, with citrus zest, dried fig and vanilla-spiced oak.
