Rosewood 7 Year Old Small Batch Kentucky Straight Bourbon (45%)

A seven-year-old Kentucky straight bourbon, bottled as a small batch at 45% ABV. The Rosewood name goes back to nineteenth-century Louisville, and the brand is now run by bourbon enthusiasts who choose their casks personally. The mash bill is 78% corn, 13% rye and 9% malted barley, and the whisky matured for at least seven years in Kentucky warehouses. The nose is soft, with creamy caramel, vanilla, light grain sweetness, gentle baking spices and a touch of toasted oak. On the palate vanilla and butterscotch lead, with toasted oak and baking spices adding structure.
