A straight rye from the Rossville distillery in Indiana, bottled at barrel proof, 56.3% ABV, in a 70cl bottle. It blends two rye mash bills, one with 51% rye and one with 95% rye, each aged for five to six years. The nose is spicy, with firm wood, nutmeg, caramel and clove. On the palate come baking spices, peppery rye, burnt sugar, salted caramel and light cherry and orange. The finish is balanced, with smoky oak, dark caramel and a hint of coconut.
