A straight rye whiskey from the Rossville Distillery in Indiana, bottled at 47% (94 proof) in a 70cl bottle. It is a blend of two rye mash bills, one with 51% rye and one with 95% rye, each aged for five to six years. The nose offers crisp rye, a light note of mint, summer berries and a soft touch of ethanol. The palate brings gently smoky oak, freshly baked bread, dark fruit, white pepper, leather and caramel. The finish is spicy, with almost sweet oak.
