This is Royal Lochnagar Distillers Edition, a 12 year old Highland single malt at 40% in a 1 litre bottle.
After its main maturation it received a further period in old Moscatel sherry casks, which adds complexity while keeping the distillery's familiar aromas.
The nose combines nuts and malt with apples and pears. On the palate it is oily and heavy with a dry note, alongside cereal and fruit flavours.
