This is a 16 year old single malt from Royal Lochnagar in Scotland, part of the 2021 Special Releases. It is bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle.
The nose is mellow and rounded, with orange zest, green apple and a hint of puff pastry over a mossy, lightly woody base. On the palate it shows firm white grapes, and a little water brings out a rising spiciness.
It is best taken neat or with just a couple of drops of water.
