A blended Scotch whisky from the 1990s, bottled at 40% ABV by Brodie Crawford & Co. Ltd. It was made primarily for the Italian market.
The nose opens with sweet honey and vanilla, then ripe apples and pears, with malted barley and gentle oak as it opens up. The palate is smooth and velvety, with caramel, butterscotch and rich malt, then raisins, sultanas and soft cinnamon and nutmeg. Toasted nuts and a whisper of smoke come late. The finish is long and warming, balancing sweetness, spice and oak.
