Royal Salute 21 Years Old Brown Bottle

Royal Salute 21 Years Old is a blended Scotch whisky, presented in a brown bottle. The nose is deep and mature, with dark chocolate, toasted almonds and baked apple, alongside old oak, heather honey, beeswax and a trace of peat smoke. The palate is round, silky and very creamy, led by sherry wood, walnuts and dates, then drier orange peel, cinnamon, stewed apple and a hint of malty cereal. The finish is long and dry, with tea leaves, bitter citrus marmalade, gentle spice and a little toasted cask smoke that fades slowly.
