Rozelieures 2019 3 Years Old (Whisky Is The Limit) (50cl, 60.3%)

This is a three year old French single cask whisky from the Grallet-Dupic distillery in Rozelieures, Lorraine, bottled in a 50cl bottle at a cask strength of 60.3% ABV. It matured in a cask that held natural sweet Jurançon wine, and 420 bottles were filled. The bottling is a collaboration between the distillery and Whisky Is The Limit, whose founder Salim chose the cask after tasting several blind in summer 2022. It is uncoloured and unfiltered. The nose offers candied fruit, pastry and light peat. The palate is full and lively, with white fruit, warm spices, winey notes and delicate peat, followed by a rich, lingering finish.
