Rozelieures – Collection Tourbé (70cl)

Rozelieures Collection Tourbé is a peated French whisky from the Rozelieures distillery, matured in new oak casks and in ex-bourbon casks. It won a gold medal at the Concours Général Agricole in 2018. The distillery stands in the village of Rozelieures, about thirty kilometres south-east of Nancy, in an area rich in barley. The region grows around 20 per cent of the malting barley produced in France, and part of that crop is exported to Scotland. The producer, Grallet Dupic, has distilled mirabelle plums for more than 150 years. Whisky production began in the early 2000s.
