Russell's Reserve Single Barrel Kentucky Straight Rye (75cl, 52%)

Russell's Reserve Single Barrel is a Kentucky straight rye whiskey in a 75cl bottle at 52% ABV (104 proof). It is non-chill filtered and comes from a single barrel. Master Distiller Eddie Russell planned this release for years. The mash bill is 51% rye, 37% corn and 12% malted barley, and the whiskey is a rich amber colour. The nose combines lemon, vanilla and spicy oak with orange peel and ginger. The palate is peppery, with vanilla and tobacco, and the finish carries pear drops and peppercorn.
