Sagamore Double Oak Rye American Whiskey (70cl, 41.5%)

Sagamore Double Oak Rye is an American rye whiskey, bottled at 41.5% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is a blend of two straight rye mash bills, aged for four to six years in high-char American oak barrels. One mash bill is high in rye and brings cinnamon and clove. The other is low in rye and adds caramel, honey and citrus peel. The whiskey is proofed with limestone-filtered water from a spring house built in 1909, and is made in the Maryland style. The nose is candied dried orange peel with clove and nutmeg, and the finish carries lingering walnut and brown sugar.
