Sagamore Spirit Cask Strength Rye is a Maryland-style straight rye made in Baltimore. It is four to five years old and bottled undiluted at 56.1% ABV, or 112.2 proof, in a 75cl bottle.
Cinnamon leads the nose, with clove and vanilla lingering. The palate is dark chocolate, intense black pepper and brown sugar, with a hint of honey. The colour is dark golden hay.
